Meadowbank is a 5.0 hectare (12.4 acre) vacant site to the north of London Road, a short distance to the east of Edinburgh City Centre. It lies immediately adjacent to the new Meadowbank Sports Centre.
The City of Edinburgh Council seeks to deliver around 600 new energy efficient homes (35% of them affordable) at Meadowbank, along with a GP surgery and new green spaces. The overall value of the development is expected to be around £110 million to £130 million.
The Council is seeking to appoint a development partner to take forward the Meadwbank development. Parties interested in participating in the development are invited to view the Prior Information Notice published by the Council and formally register an interest. Developers will have the opportunity to ask questions about the development and help shape the Council's procurement strategy.
