Opticians group Specsavers has invested £250,000 in a new state-of-the-art store in Corstorphine, Edinburgh. Store director Adam Gordon explains more…

Your business in brief

Specsavers is a partnership of nearly 2,000 locally-run businesses, committed to delivering high quality, affordable optical and hearing care in the communities they serve.  We opened our brand new store in Corstorphine to the public on 9th March 2017 with existing partners, Ian Hobson and Craig Daker from the Gyle store with me as an additional partner.

Edinburgh is such a diverse and exciting market with great opportunities...It’s important to us to be able to engage with the local community whilst investing further in our staff and development of the store.

The new store has three test rooms and a dedicated contact lens department, which features cutting edge optical equipment. Our opticians also offer Digital Precision Eyecare, which uses tablet imaging technology to help select and fit a customer’s glasses.

The technology ensures everyone receives the very best professional care and advice in frame selection and dispensing for their prescription, vision and lifestyle needs.

The brand new Specsavers store in Corstorphine opened to the public on 9th March 2017.

We also have a Hearing Centre, providing hearing tests and aids, amongst other services.
