What makes Edinburgh an attractive market for you?
It’s no secret that entrepreneurship in Scotland is booming right now. Across a wide range of sectors, the future of Scottish business looks bright. Life sciences and technology are particularly buoyant, though there’s also much promise in the more traditional oil and gas industries.
Against this exciting backdrop, we’re looking to double the size of the UBS Wealth Management team in Scotland over the next two years so we can support even more clients.
What presence will you have here?
We’ve just signed a 10-year lease on new premises at St Andrew Square, alongside Standard Life Aberdeen and Rathbones. The new Edinburgh headquarters will become our flagship office for our business outside of London, and we’re eagerly awaiting our move in the next few months.
The new office will be home to our rapidly expanding team in the city – our current premises at Wemyss Place is bursting at the seams with our ever-growing team. Driven by exceptional growth across the whole region, our team in Scotland has grown from five employees to 16 in recent years.
What's the vision for your business?
We’re always on the lookout for client advisers to bolster our ability to help clients in the region meet their financial goals.
As well as the central belt, we’re aiming to expand our geographic reach by targeting the area between Perthshire and Inverness.
Our priority is to guide clients through the opportunities and challenges they face, wherever they are and whatever their life goals.
If you would like to find out more about how we can help you and your business establish, relocate or expand within the city region, or would simply like more information about what Edinburgh has to offer, get in touch today.
