Digital services firm's US partnership

Edinburgh based digital services consultancy Exception has secured a partnership programme with high-growth star ServiceNow.

Exception employs more than 300 people at its Edinburgh headquarters. Its services help companies harness digital technology and customers include RBS, Lloyds Bank, Clydesdale Bank, NHS Scotland, Edinburgh Airport and the city councils in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

ServiceNow is one of the emerging cloud service major hitters in the US. It was founded in 2004 by Fred Luddy who wanted to build a cloud-based platform that would enable people to work more effectively and automate manual jobs. ServiceNow had revenue of $2.6 billion in 2018 and growth of 36%, and employs over 8,000 people.

Their programme membership also entitles Exception access to ServiceNow tools and resources enabling the company to accelerate IT service automation engagements.
