Edinburgh named one of the best cities in the world for students

Edinburgh has been named as one of the best cities in the world to be a student, according to the table produced by QS higher education data analysts.

The city is listed as the second best city in the UK, with affordable student fees also making Edinburgh an attractive prospect according to the data analysts.

QS named the city's large student population and its internationally diverse community as the chief reasons for Auld Reekie's high ranking. Edinburgh was also lauded for the standard of education on offer.

For undergraduate students from within the EU...Edinburgh could be surprisingly affordable.
