Four firms signs up for offices

Four tenants have moved in to the newly refurbished Commercial Quay office development in Leith.

Legal accounting specialists Alex Quinn & Partners signed up for 3,786 sq ft on a five year lease. Marketing agency Cello Signal agreed to take 2,227 sq ft and Mercy Corps Europe took 6,273 sq ft, both on a 10 year deal.

Landlord Castleforge Partners bought the development in Edinburgh’s popular Leith shore area late last year. The firm has invested in the property which offers office accommodation across four category A listed buildings.

Jenny Emslie, founder and managing director at Sunshine Communications, said: “We love the development’s character and waterfront promenade, and the proximity to excellent amenities and transport links makes this a great area to operate and grow the company from. "

Other tenants at Commercial Quay include The Leith Agency (creative/advertising), Inova Geophysical (seismic instruments) Blonde Digital (marketing), Thomson Reuters (mass media and information), Royal Haskoning DHV (engineering, design and project management) and Ajenta (software). Castleforge Partners plans to create a new reception area, breakout space for business tenants and on-site amenities.
