Foreign exchange firm opens Scottish office

Foreign exchange firm moneycorp is opening in Edinburgh. Demand for international payments and transfers has grown in an increasingly global market.

The business aims to tap in to the vibrant financial services sector in Edinburgh that often has to depend on London based providers. The office will create seven jobs in Edinburgh.

The moneycorp team in Edinburgh will be led by Niall Handy who has been appointed head of sales for Scotland and Northern Ireland. Handy, who was previously at Barclays, has over 17 years of corporate and investment banking experience.
