Money Dashboard raises £2 million

Personal finance app Money Dashboard has secured more than £2 million of investment in under 24 hours with a private crowdfunding for its users.

The Edinburgh business said it reached its target of £1.5 million in under 45 minutes and saw 1,037 users invest in the business yesterday.

Money Dashboard is raising funds to support its growth plans, which include increasing the size of its team from 20 to 65 staff, allowing it to reach one million users in five years and growing its revenues exponentially.

Its money management app helps more than 200,000 people manage their finances. It connects to more than 60 financial institutions so users can see all their accounts in one place.
