Mudano creates 40 jobs for new AI project

Almost 40 jobs will be created in Edinburgh following a £6.9 million investment in a new artificial intelligence software project.

Business consultancy firm Mudano has been given a £2.6 million research and development grant towards the initiative. The company aims to create the world's first AI project management software at its new division in the capital.

Finance Secretary Derek Mackay confirmed the grant ahead of the launch of the Scottish Government's economic action plan on Wednesday. He said: "It is clear that our focus on internationalisation, infrastructure investment, innovation and fair work is gathering pace."
