New distillery strengthens operations

The Holyrood Distillery and visitor experience in Edinburgh, has doubled the size of its team as its opening approaches.

The Holyrood Distillery is Edinburgh’s first single malt whisky distillery for 90 years.

The project was initially led by a core team including founders Rob and Kelly Carpenter and David Robertson, alongside commercial director Bill Farrar and head distiller Jack Mayo.

Only a handful of the distillery's limited edition run of 100 casks remain available for sale in advance of the July opening.
