Pitchbooking secure £250,000 investment

A sports tech firm based in Edinburgh's CodeBase has received a £250,000 injection from a group of private investors.

Pitchbooking has secured the funding in an investment round led by local investment firm Aurient Ltd and backed by Techstart Ventures and Co-Fund NI, managed by Clarendon Fund Managers.

The round was completed by private investors across the UK and New York.  The business, which is based in Edinburgh, has developed a platform that provides greater access to sports facilities for the public while streamlining the facility owner’s internal processes.

Founded by Fearghal Campbell, Chris McCann and Shea O’Hagan, the company has already facilitated over 15,000 sport sessions. The new capital will support Pitchbooking’s ambitions in the UK and the rest of the world.
