A strong delegation will be attending the event being held from March 13th to 16th, with representatives from five cities as well as support from our partners in the Scottish Government and Scottish Enterprise.
Scottish Cities Alliance will be there promoting investment offerings across the seven cities from the opportunities available in the £1billion Dundee Waterfront which features the new V&A Museum at its centrepiece; Edinburgh’s Quarter Mile; Glasgow’s Magenta at Clyde Gateway, Inverness’s Airport Business Park, Stirling’s Kildean Business Park and Perth West Eco innovation business park and sustainable city expansion.

This breakfast event will highlight key innovative projects being carried out throughout the Scottish Cities kicking off with a keynote speech from the Scottish Government’s Minister for Business, Innovation and Energy Paul Wheelhouse, followed by investment opportunities from the cities.
Later that day, and staying on that theme, Glasgow will be hosting an event moderated by Greg Clark, CBE, focusing on the 3 innovation districts in the West of Scotland and the investment opportunities they offer in advanced manufacturing, life sciences and the energy and enabling technologies sectors.
The Smart Cities Breakfast round-table discussion will take place on Wednesday morning with attendance of representatives from leading European cities that use smart technology to enhance cities. This collaborative discussion will be moderated by Mark Jenkinson, City Director at Siemens, the leading global engineering and technology services company.
