Trio of lettings at Capital Square

The lettings leave the building around 90% occupied.

Three lettings totalling 38,920 square feet (3,616 square metres) have been secured on the grade 'A' Capital Square office building on Morrison Street in Edinburgh city centre.

Legal firm Anderson Strathern has taken 21,432 square feet (1,991 square metres) on the building's ground and first floors on a 15-year lease; consultancy Stantec has leased 9,241 square feet (859 square metres) on the third floor; and audit/tax advisor Mazars has leased 8,247 square feet (766 square metres) on the second floor on a 10-year lease.

The latest lettings leave the building around 90% let, with only 9,421 square feet (875 square metres) on the second floor remaining. The joint letting agents are CBRE and JLL.

Designed and built by BAM, Capital Square was named "Best Commercial Workplace in Scotland" for 2022 by the British Council for Offices. The building has also secured an International Green Apple Environmental Award for its measures such as solar panel panels, intelligent LED lighting, and electrical vehicle charging points
