£200 million development in Fountainbridge moves forward
The proposals form part of the wider regeneration of the Fountainbridge area.
The Social Hub has submitted plans for a £200 million development in the Fountainbridge area of Edinburgh city centre.
The proposed development would deliver a 580-bed facility spanning student, hotel, and extended-stay accommodation; a co-working area for up to 300 people; and social spaces including a restaurant, café, rooftop bar, theatre, and gym. It is expected to directly create 100 new jobs.
"Glasgow has shown the power of our model to bring students, neighbours, entrepreneurs, and visitors together. Now we want to spark that same energy in Edinburgh - a place woven into the life of the city, where connection and creativity don’t just happen, they thrive, and where social impact becomes part of everyday life."
- Charlie MacGregor, Founder and CEO, The Social Hub
