Mollie's (London, England): motel and diner-inspired hospitality chain Mollie's announced plans to open a 207-bedroom hotel and diner in Edinburgh Park in West Edinburgh in 2028, close to the proposed new AEG Edinburgh Park Arena, creating 69 new jobs.

Mitchells and Butlers (Birmingham, England): Mitchells and Butlers acquired the 557 square metre (6,000 square foot) Charwood Bar and Grill on Buckstone Terrace in Edinburgh, with plans to carry out a £2 million refurbishment and reopen the property as a Miller & Carter steakhouse.

Sephora (Paris, France): beauty care retailer Sephora announced the opening of a new 461 square metre (4,961 square foot) outlet at the St James Quarter in Edinburgh city centre in summer 2026.

MSC Group (Geneva, Switzerland): the cruise division of global transport company MSC Group announced the opening of "MSC Creative Studios" in Edinburgh in July 2025. The facility will service a a hub for MSC Group's creative, technical and production teams, being used for rehearsals, training, stagecraft and performer preparation for shows staged aboard MSC Group's cruise ships. The new facility will include 11 dance studios, six vocal studios, a technical recording studio, and an aerial rehearsal space, along with green rooms, offices, changing rooms, and costume/props stores.
